Eating Out and About #5 Lunch on Pulteney Bridge in Bath

We recently visited Bath and were very pleasantly surprised by our chosen spot for lunch.

It was a wonderful little find on the gorgeous Pulteney Bridge aptly named the Pulteney Bridge Restaurant. We were just after a quick bite to eat, but what we found was an extremely welcoming place serving freshly cooked food, with friendly and attentive staff; and as a result we actually ended up saying for a very leisurely lunch because it had such a lovely atmosphere.

We were good, just opting for main courses, including: Home-made burger with fries, salad & blue stilton, Grilled chicken breast served with Caesar salad (plus a portion of fries) and I went for the Mushroom risotto with saffron and truffle oil.

I would definitely go back for more! Thank goodness Bath isn’t too far from Cheltenham.

  1. I went to university in Bath but never went to this restaurant! It looks amazing ah. Think I need to make a trip back - I love truffle flavoured anything :)
