Coffee Break #6 Lunch at Montpellier Cafe with Tamar Cohen

Nestled away in The Courtyard in Montpellier is the new Montpellier Café. We stopped off for some lunch and I had the most delicious cream of cauliflower soup served with brown bread. Everything is home-made, even the ketchup, which we are going to have to get the recipe for.  I also took the opportunity to delve into a book called The War of the Wives by Tamar Cohen.

Here’s the blurb if you’re looking for a read…

Imagine: You’ve been happily married for 28 years. You have three children, a lovely house and a husband who travels a lot. Even after all this time, you still love each other.

One day you get a call that turns your world upside down: your husband is dead. You are devastated. You go to the funeral…And come face to face with his other widow.

Another wife, another family. It can’t be true. You are his only wife. She is just an upstart. She can’t be his widow, too. Or can she?
