Local Eat Treats #4 Ladies What Lunch at Portivo Lounge

I was first introduced to The Lounges by one of my best friends who lives in Bristol. This is where The Lounges were started and so the city boasts quite a few of them. They are great places to stop for a drink, they also do simple and tasty food, and their cake looks very tempting too. When I visit her, we always drop in to one of The Lounges to eat or drink or both, so when she came to visit me in Gloucestershire, I was pleased we could keep up our tradition and go to the Portivo Lounge which has recently opened in Gloucester Quays.

Claire tucked into a Halloumi and Muhamarra Dip Panini, whilst I went for the Chicken Caesar Burger. Both very tasty and served in great surroundings. I also noticed they have a fab brunch menu which is served all day long and some very yummy tapas that will require me to go back for a few more visits to work my way through it all!

What’s your go-to place for an easy lunch with a friend?

  1. Mmm yum! My easy lunch place is a little restaurant called St James in Crouch End. It's such a lovely little place, perfect for a glass of sparkling and really good food :)
